Jimmy Eat World – Bleed American Tour

Went to the sold out Jimmy Eat World show last night.  This is one of my top 5 favorite bands and I have seen them live a number of times.

It was the 10 year anniversary of their album, Bleed American. They played the entire album beginning to end last night…magical.

It was perfect.  The sound was amazing and the crowd was in love all over again.  My favorites were Your House, Get it Faster and A Praise Chorus.

Their encore was an hr long and they played a mix of hit songs from their other albums.  Best moment by far was Goodbye Sky Harbor being 8 minutes long.

Florence + the Machine – Shake it out

This song was appropriately named as it makes you do exactly what it says the second the chorus comes in.

Shake it out is Florence + the Machine’s second single released through her website and YouTube channel earlier in September.   By the sounds of this song her new album will not disappoint and I will try to wait patiently for the US release.
